Moran’s of The Weir
Kilcolgan, Co. Galway  (Map shannon - E12)

Actually in county Galway, but en route to Clare, watch out for the signpost to Morans (just before Kilcolgan village), which takes you down a narrow boreen to a quiet inlet where Morans is located. A truly tranquil spot, the thatched Bar provides good Guinness and fresh shellfish and seafood. Oysters a speciality. Seats outside on a good day.
