The East
The eastern region consists of counties Louth, Meath, Wicklow, Kildare and Dublin County (Dublin City is dealt with separately in Softguide Dublin). Counties Meath and Louth known also as The Boyne Valley offer visitors the chance to explore Ireland's celtic past with many Neolithic ruins including the famous Newgrange passage graves (shown here).
